in notification on the top side it is clearly stated that students who has passed group 1 in old syllabus has to give exams of remaining seven papers. however it is also stated that Students who have passed only One Module under the Old Syllabus are required to enroll for All the three modules of Professional Programme (New Syllabus) during December, 2015 Session." its really sound confusing. but as per my personal opinion, these people r trying to say that though a candidate has passed one module in old syllabus, the candidaate has to only enroll for all modules since the subjects under old syllabus are scattered in different groups in new syllabus. After enrolling the candidate can claim exemption. I have talked with icsi call centre about my query for claiming exemptn subjects (module 1 and 4) of old syllabus which i has passed. They told to fill exam form from sep 1 2015. The link for claiming exemptn  under my account paymnet reqyest will be available from 01.09.2015.

however, this is just my personal opiniion.
